What FDCLA-Norte is
FDCLA (Festival de Cine Latino Americano) is a nonprofit organization and describes itself as the largest international Latino Film Festival in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The organization was founded in 2015, and the first festival took place in 2016. Since then, FDCLA-Norte has showcased outstanding films from across Latin America, brought Tejano and Latino filmmakers together with DFW audiences, and partnered with organizations including Artes de la Rosa Cultural Center for the Arts, the Fort Worth Film Commission, and the University of North Texas.
Why sponsorship matters right now
In 2025, funding cuts forced the festival down to a single free day — a reduced, one-day edition with no award categories that year. In the festival’s own words at the time: “We look forward to returning next year with a full lineup and events to demonstrate our resilience and community! ¡Si se puede!” A full 2026 edition of the festival did not take place. Sponsorship is what turns that hope into a real, full-scale return: it funds venue costs, programming, and the volunteer-run operation that has kept this festival going since 2016.

The festival’s previously published sponsorship packages were prepared for a 2026 edition that did not take place and no longer reflect current sponsorship opportunities.]
